Fabrication and Electrochemical Performance of TiO₂–TiN/Sn–SnO₂ Composite Films on Ti for LIB Anodes with High Capacity and Excellent Conductivity

Abstract According to the requirements for anode materials of safe and high‐capacity lithium‐ion batteries (LIBs), various Sn/TiO 2 SnO /TiO composite have been developed, but no reports yet combined them by a simple fabrication method. Herein, novel approach is reported nanoporous TiO –TiN/Sn–SnO films successive Ti anodization cathodic hybrid electrodeposition Sn in nitric acid‐based aqueous solution containing 2+ and/or 4+ ions. The conductivity anodic –TiN facilitates simultaneous metallic electrophoretic deposition colloids, both on surface inside nanopores film. Notably, structure preserved, which provides large area. Sn–SnO nanoparticles film significantly improves charge transfer enhances discharge capacity up 2386.1 µAh cm −2 (approximately sixfold higher than that bare matrix film).
